Predictions for 2026

Wrote these during March and April.

1. Cursor gets acquired by xAI or some other big lab that's lagging behind in benchmarks and popularity
2. Open AI IPOs
3. Anthropic will do a reverse merger with Atlassian for their 300k+ customers and to IPO before Open AI
4. Opensource models will be relative to (Updated May 11) will fall behind models by the big labs due to lack of access to high quality data
